Bay Basketball offers two youth basketball programs that are year-round:

  1. Skills Workouts: Four separate 3 Month Seasons. 1. Fall (Sep-Nov), 2. Winter (Dec-Feb), 3. Spring (Mar-May), 4. Summer (Jun-Aug)

  2. Bay Boys Select Travel Teams: Two separate 6 Month Seasons (1. Sep-Feb and 2. Mar-Aug)

Skills Workouts are offered on several week nights over a three month period. We balance individual skill development, basketball lingo development, rules / violations, transition advantage and disadvantage drills, 1 on 1 and small-sided games. Players may join multiple age and skill appropriate groups as long as they can keep up. Players will learn essential skills, play fun dynamic drills to enforce development of these skills and play small sided games to execute them live. 10 Workouts per season. Players may join as many appropriate skills practices they want. Workouts are limited in size to small groups. Join whenever and we can pro-rate.

Bay Boys Select Travel Teams practice as a team once a week, play in local one day shootouts monthly and inter-squad scrimmages. Commitments are broken into two six month periods. Fall / Winter (Sept-Feb) and Spring / Summer (Mar-Aug) Teams are selected based on interest and aptitude. This is a high commitment and recommend for players looking for a competitive experience. Bay Boys are welcome to join Skills Team workouts for no additional fee.

The Process of developing and preparing players for High School Basketball is a our mission. Our focus is on deep practice in a year round program developing the complete basketball player: technically skilled by master coaching, fundamental team decision making and instincts, character of great habits and accountability and basketball specific fitness, speed and strength.
